Trevor Walker
Voice / Piano
Starting off his interest in music from a very young age, Trevor Walker has sung everything from Jazz standards by Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole to cantatas and requiems by Mozart, Bach, and Brahms. Throughout his high school career, he began traveling and competing in Barbershop Harmony Society competitions. He sang with Atlanta Vocal Project, an Atlanta-based Barbershop choir under the direction of Clay Hine. In Trevor’s time with Atlanta Vocal Project, he has performed in venues such as the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Canada. He then began his studies with the Kennesaw State University School of Music program.
While at Kennesaw State University, Trevor has had the opportunity to showcase some of his talents at the annual Spring Arts festival. There he sang covers of more contemporary songs by artists like Ed Sheeran and lesser known Indie artists like Kodaline. During his time in college, Trevor has experimented with his own personal musical expression as well. In his personal works he has worked hard to write, produce, and release his own music. He has released two songs and an EP on Spotify, with his most popular song being “Forever Since Yesterday.”
Trevor has recently enjoyed instructing others on the knowledge he has learned from his years at university. He also likes to share his knowledge and experience with beginner aspects of piano, guitar, and ukulele. He is very excited to continue his music journey with Canton Music Shoppe.
