Descripton:
Up for sale is a fantastic recent model Guild Newark St. Collection X-175 Manhattan Special in a beautiful satin gold that Guild calls "Golden Coast" (now discontinued). This is a truly excellent jazz box, with real deal DeArmond Dynasonic pickups, fantastic build quality and tone for days. These are made SPG (Sound Professional Guitar Co, Ltd.) in Korea. SPG builds hollow and semi-hollow models for Gretsch, D'Angelico and others and really do a great job. Serious bang for the buck here! And, the gold colorway is pretty rare on the used market (vs. the much more common blue). As of listing, this is the only one on Reverb.
Tested 100% fully functional. Comes with fitted hardshell case. Excellent+ condition.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
