Description:

Satin Purple. Designed during the Dean Zelinsky era, the Imperial series stood out for its carved “scooped” body profile — a thinner center section that makes the guitar unusually lightweight without sacrificing sustain or resonance. Add the sharp DBZ styling and gold hardware, and this one definitely has stage presence.

Mahogany body and mahogany set neck keep things familiar and punchy, while the carved top and thin body give it a sleek, modern feel. The dual humbuckers cover a lot of ground — from warm cleans to crunchy rock sounds — and the satin finish makes the neck fast and smooth without feeling sticky. Gold hardware and DBZ aesthetic details round out the look.

very good overall. Light play wear, and some minor tarnish/wear on the gold hardware from normal handling. No cracks, breaks, or structural issues. Frets are clean, and everything functions as it should.

As usual, the guitar has been fully inspected and set up in our shop: fresh strings installed, truss rod dialed in, fretboard cleaned and conditioned, action set, and intonation checked. Plays great and is ready for the next player.

We typically use brand new, high crush strength boxes and we pack very carefully.
