Up for sale is a super clean 2023 Fender Aerodyne Special Telecaster in Hot Rod Burst. Made in Japan. This model was recently discontinued, but retailed for $1300 new.
A local customer bought this new, and then had us install a custom push/pull pot to give him the same functionality that you'd get with the S-1 switch on a modern Tele. Basically, pull up for both pickups in series, almost like a humbucker.
Super versatile, excellent craftsmanship, and really fun to play. The subtle arched top is a really nice touch too. These will probably become collectible one day like the older Aerodynes have started to do.
Tested 100% fully functional. No box or accessories. Excellent+ condition overall. No real wear to speak of, and the frets are like new. Truss rod works smoothly in both directions.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
