Description:

2016 Yamaha Revstar RS420 in a striking Black Sparkle finish. The Revstar series blends vintage-inspired design with modern playability, and the RS420 strikes a great balance between classic looks and versatile tone. Inspired by café racer motorcycles, the aesthetic is bold but refined, and the build quality is exactly what you'd expect from Yamaha's long-standing reputation.

This model features a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, set neck construction, and a pair of custom-wound Yamaha VH3 humbuckers. The "Dry Switch" tone control allows you to cut low frequencies for a pseudo-single coil sound—perfect for extra clarity and bite without the hum. The neck has a comfortable medium profile, and the whole guitar feels solid and responsive.

Condition is good overall. The guitar shows normal cosmetic wear—light scuffs, small dings, and one medium-size ding on the back (see photos). Nothing structural or that affects playability. Frets are in great shape, and the electronics are clean and working as they should.

It has been professionally set up here in the shop with fresh strings, truss rod and neck relief adjustment, fret polish, nut and action setup, and pickup height dialed in. It’s playing well and ready for anything you throw at it.
