Really nice 2015 Fender Custom Shop Designed Classic Player 60s Strat in candy apple red with some nice upgrades. About as nice as you can hope for at this price point ... a professional quality instrument. Prior to their discontinuation and replacement by the Vintera series, these were designed by Greg Fessler in Fenders USA Custom Shop. And then built in the Ensenada Mexico facility. Great build quality, and authentic 60s vintage specs. This one has had its pickguard replaced for a red tortoise, and the original pickups swapped out for a set of Klein Jazzy Cats. The Klein set is just under $300 before installation, and sound incredible. They are geared for the Mayer, Hendrix, SRV tones and they do that job very well.
Condition is VG+ ... just a little bit of light buckle wear on the back. Frets are in excellent shape.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height, intonation and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
