Description:

Silverburst finish with a mirrored pickguard upgrade. This model was part of Fender’s short lived Modern Player line, which offered fresh takes on classic designs with hot-rodded features and high build quality. The finish and pickguard combo on this one make it a real eye-catcher, but it’s also a very solid and versatile player.

Factory features include an HSS pickup configuration, modern 9.5" radius fingerboard, and a vintage-style tremolo system. The neck has a comfortable “C” profile and satin finish that plays fast. The aftermarket mirrored pickguard currently installed gives it a more custom-shop aesthetic, but the original black pickguard is also included for those who prefer the stock look.

practically mint — no major wear, dings, or blemishes. Frets and hardware are clean, and the neck is straight and smooth. Includes both the installed mirrored pickguard and the original black one. No case or gig bag included.

Note that we did not take off the mirror pickguard to see if the screw holes lined up with the factory holes, but the installation looks clean and the guard sits flat.

As always, this guitar has been fully set up here in the shop. It has fresh strings, a polished fretboard, adjusted truss rod and neck relief, dialed-in action and nut height, and properly set pickup balance. It’s playing great and ready for the next round.
