Descripton:
Up for sale is a really nice 2010 ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe in "See Thru Black Cherry" finish over a beautiful quilted maple top. A head turner for sure. Loaded with the original EMG 60/81 active humbuckers, this guitar is clearly designed with the heavy metal crowd in mind ... and of course it does that job VERY well. But, to be honest, these are suprisingly versatile guitars, and the active pickups sound full and clear with cleaner tones as well. Very well made with nice hardware, fit and finish (as you can usually expect from Korean manufacturing these days).
The only thing to note on this one is that it has a noticeable dent on the top just under the tailpiece (see the last picture). We drop fill dents like this pretty frequently at the shop with pretty good results. With this darker color, it would help disguise the dent a bit. Or, you could embrace it and add a bunch of your own battle scars!
Tested 100% fully functional. No case, box or accessories. Good condition (would be VG+ without that dent). Frets are 100% and plays great.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
