Description:

Up for sale is a Preowned 2009 Epiphone Dot Studio Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Worn Vintage Burst, upgraded with a set of Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90 pickups. The Dot Studio is a stripped-down take on the classic ES-style formula, keeping things simple and comfortable while still delivering the familiar semi-hollow feel. This one stands out thanks to the P90 upgrade, which adds a bit more bite and clarity compared to the stock humbuckers.

The semi-hollow body with center block gives it a nice balance of warmth and control, working well for clean tones and edge-of-breakup sounds without feeling overly loose. The neck has a comfortable, familiar profile, and the minimalist Dot Studio aesthetic pairs nicely with the worn burst finish.

Condition is very good. There is some very minor buckle rash, but any scratches (including the buckle rash) are light and hidden extremely well by the finish, and one small noticeable scratch on the edge of the headstock. There is also faded finish wear on the back of the neck. Overall, the guitar presents extremely cleanly with no notable dings, cracks, or structural issues.

The guitar has been inspected and set up in our shop, including fresh strings, neck relief adjustment, action and intonation dial-in, and electronics testing. It plays comfortably across the neck and the Phat Cat P90s give it a lively, articulate voice that suits blues, rock, and indie styles particularly well.
