Description:

Up for sale is a Preowned 2008 Reverend Roundhouse 290 Solid Body Single-Cut Electric Guitar in 2-Tone Sunburst, with no case included. The Roundhouse 290 is a great example of Reverend’s approach to blending familiar single-cut styling with their own practical design ideas. It’s a comfortable, well-balanced guitar with a slightly different feel and response than more traditional single-cut designs, and it’s easy to see why these have a loyal following.

This model features a solid body, dual P-90 pickups, and a straightforward control layout that keeps everything intuitive. The neck has a comfortable profile that feels natural right away, and the guitar balances well whether seated or standing. Tonally, it offers clear, punchy single-coil character with enough body to handle pushed and overdriven sounds without getting thin.

Condition is good. The top of the body presents cleanly, with only light surface scratches. The back of the body shows buckle rash, including one longer scratch that runs from one edge of the back to the other. There are three notable dings that go through the finish on the bottom side of the body near the back edge, along with general scuffing on the edges and sides. The guitar still has the plastic protective film on the rear electronics plate. The headstock shows a few very small dings along the top edges and one more noticeable white mark just above the serial number on the back. No cracks, repairs, or structural issues were found.

The guitar has been inspected and set up in our shop, including fresh strings, neck relief adjustment, action and intonation dial-in, and electronics testing. It plays comfortably across the neck and functions exactly as it should.
