Description:

Up for sale is a Preowned 2007 Gretsch G5235 Electromatic Pro Jet Hardtail Solid Body Electric Guitar in Black, with no case included. The hardtail Pro Jet offers a more straightforward take on the Jet platform, keeping the classic Gretsch look while favoring simplicity, tuning stability, and a slightly tighter feel compared to the Bigsby-equipped versions. It’s a comfortable, compact solid body that works well for players who want Gretsch character without a vibrato system.

This model features a solid body, dual humbuckers, and a familiar Gretsch control layout. The neck has an easy, comfortable profile, and the guitar balances well whether seated or standing. It’s a good, honest player-grade example that’s clearly been used but still functions exactly as it should.

Condition is good. There are light surface scratches on the top of the body, and the Gretsch logo on the pickguard is beginning to fade. The back of the body shows surface scratches along with a few more noticeable scratches and impressions. There is one notable ding through the finish on the back of the body, as well as several small dings through the finish along the back edges. The back edges of the headstock also show some small cosmetic marks. No cracks, repairs, or structural issues were found.

The guitar has been inspected and set up in our shop, including fresh strings, neck relief adjustment, action and intonation dial-in, and electronics testing. It plays comfortably across the neck and is ready for regular use.
