Description:

Up for sale is a 2006 Gibson Custom Shop "G0" Les Paul Historic 1960 Reissue, a Guitar Center exclusive model finished in Tak Burst over a plain maple top. This model is essentially a R0 '60 reissue with mostly plain tops and some GC-specific specifications that were meant to replicate a specific 1960 Les Paul that was at the San Francisco Guitar Center. They were initially released in the early 2000s and have been around in different interations for a while, slowly gaining a cult-like following along the way. People love the plain tops, more rounded neck profile and VOS aged finish. 

Features include a mahogany body with plain maple top, mahogany neck with a specific rounded 60's neck profile (often described as being like a 1959 shape but slightly smaller), rosewood fingerboard, dual humbuckers with traditional Les Paul wiring, ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge with stop tailpiece, and vintage-style hardware throughout.

This example is in great shape overall and has clearly been played and cared for. There is some light buckle wear and finish worming on the back, but nothing through the finish and nothing of note on the top. Frets are in great shape with plenty of life remaining, and the instrument plays cleanly up and down the neck.
