Up for sale is a super clean 2006 Fender 60th Anniversary Standard Stratocaster in Electron Blue.
Please note: this guitar is currently fitted with a genuine Fender Classic Player 50's Soft V (MIM) replacement neck ($300). The original neck is included but has a noticeable lateral bow, and the customer chose to have a new neck installed vs. attempting to repair the original. Both necks are included in this sale. Note that the serial number on the new neck will not accurately date the guitar. If you wish to see pictures of the original neck and serial number, we will gladly provide them.
This one is an interesting story. A local customer bought three of these anniversary Strats in various colors from an old shop that was a Fender dealer at the time these came out and never sold them to anyone. So, they were "new old stock" and still had all the promotional stickers on them. This one still has the "Fender Bullets" sticker on the back.
The guitar is in excellent shape, and plays and sounds fantastic. The soft V shape replacement neck is an upgrade in my opinion. Also fitted with vintage style locking tuners.
Tested 100% fully functional. Comes with a generic gig big (not pictured). Excellent condition overall, with very little signs of use. The neck and frets are basically brand new, and the truss rod is working as it should with room to spare.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
