Up for sale is a 2004 Ibanez SZ720FM in transparent grey over a nice flamed maple top. This model was available from 2004-2007, so this is a first year example. Made in Korea. These were departure from typical Ibanez offerings, and really more akin to a PRS-type build. Mahogany neck and body with a maple top, 25" scale, multi-ply abalone inlays, string-thru body, and those cool flame motif inlays ... its definitely a tried-and-true combination, and it we really like it. If you're looking to nail the rock radio / pop punk hits of the early-to-mid 2000s, look no further!
Condition is VG+, but does show some play wear. Mostly some finish swirling and some light buckle wear on the back. But, very clean overall. Looks all original. Tuners are stable. Frets in excellent shape. No case or bag.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height, intonation and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
