Description:

Up for sale is a Preowned 2001 Epiphone AlleyKat Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Cherry Burst, made in Korea, and including a hardshell case. The AlleyKat is a compact, center-block semi-hollow design with a distinctive look and a comfortable, slightly smaller feel than a full-size ES-style guitar. These early-2000s Korean-made Epiphones are well regarded for their solid build quality and consistent playability.

This model features a semi-hollow body with a center block, dual humbuckers, and a familiar control layout that keeps things intuitive. It has a warm, rounded tone with good clarity, working equally well for clean sounds and pushed tones without excessive feedback. The neck has a comfortable profile that feels approachable right away, and the guitar balances nicely whether seated or on a strap.

Condition is very good. There are light surface scratches on the front and back of the body. Notable cosmetic marks include one mark near the 3-way switch along the top edge of the body and one ding on the top edge of the body. There are several smaller dings and marks on the bottom back edge of the body near the strap button, along with one smaller ding on the very edge near the top of the headstock. No cracks, repairs, or structural issues were found, and the guitar presents cleanly overall for its age.

The guitar has been inspected and set up in our shop, including fresh strings, neck relief adjustment, action and intonation dial-in, and electronics testing. It plays comfortably across the neck and functions exactly as it should.
