Here's a cool and somewhat rare one ... this is a pre-Fender late 90s or early 00s Gretsch Electromatic G2629 Sparkle Jet Club in Sparkle Red. These were from the early days of the Electromatic series where that was the primary brand logo used on the headstock with the Gretsch logo relegated to the truss rod cover. Made in Korea.
This one appears all original except the locking tuners that were added with no apparent holes drilled. Plays great, and sounds good with the full-size Gretsch humbuckers. These guitars have become popular modification platforms due to the full size humbucker route.
Tested 100% fully functional. No case, box or accessories. Excellent condition overall, especially for the age. Finish is glossy and free from major dings and dents. Frets are in great shape, and the truss rod is working smoothly in both directions with room to spare.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
