Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 1995 Hamer USA Special FM Electric Guitar in Transparent Cherry Red, complete with the original hardshell case. Hamer’s USA-era instruments have a loyal following for good reason — they’re fantastic instruments, resonant, and built with a level of craftsmanship that consistently outperforms many of their contemporaries. This Special FM features a beautifully figured flame maple top over a solid mahogany body, paired with a comfortable set mahogany neck.

This particular guitar has a really beatuiful flamed top. The red tint is just right, and brings out all of the figuring really well.

This model keeps things classic and straightforward: dual humbuckers, a tune-o-matic style bridge and tailpiece, and an intuitive volume/volume/tone control layout. It’s an excellent example of Hamer’s mid-’90s USA production — lively, responsive, and easy to play.

Condition is very good, especially for a guitar approaching 30 years old. It shows only minor signs of use, with small cosmetic imperfections consistent with age but no cracks, repairs, or structural concerns. Frets are in excellent shape, the neck is straight, and the electronics function as they should.

The guitar has been fully inspected and set up in our shop: fresh strings installed, neck relief dialed in, frets polished, action adjusted, and intonation set. It plays great across the entire neck with a lively, resonant feel that these mid-’90s Hamers are known for.

We typically use brand new, high crush strength boxes and we pack very carefully.
