Up for sale is a preowned 1990 Ibanez 540S HSS Electric Guitar in Ruby Red, made in Japan and part of Ibanez’s early-’90s S-Series lineup. Known for its ultra-slim, lightweight body and fast neck profile, the 540S delivers a comfortable, ergonomic feel with a wide tonal range thanks to its HSS pickup configuration.
Features include a contoured basswood body, bolt-on maple neck with a 25.5" scale length, rosewood fingerboard, HSS pickup layout with a 5-way selector, Ibanez Edge double-locking tremolo, and straightforward volume and tone controls. This example has been played but presents very clean overall, showing only light signs of use and no notable issues. Frets are in great shape, the neck is straight, and the tremolo and hardware function as they should.
