Up for sale is an incredibly cool guiltar from a local builder here in the North Georgia area, Goble Custom Guitars. Rick Goble is a friend of the shop, and a talented small scale buider that gets his hands on some really top notch tonewoods and turns them into one-off builds like this one. A double cut, single pickup, 12-string electric with funky red over natural aesthetics. Certainly not something you'd see from many mainstream builders.
This guitar is a lot of fun to play. Action is dialed in for pretty easy playability for a 12-string, and the body resonates like crazy. Pickup is from Wilkinson, and sounds like their take on a PAF type humbucker. The neck is a very beefy profile, probably pushing into the mid-50s Gibson "baseball bat" territory. Very stable with all the tension from the 12 strings.
Tested 100% fully functional. No case, box or accessories. Excellent condition.
As always, this guitar has been treated to a brand new set of strings and a deluxe setup here in the shop. That includes a full fret polish, setting neck relief / truss rod, dialing in nut slot height and string action, setting the pickup height and more! So, you can rest assured that it is playing its absolute best!
