Description:

Up for sale is a preowned Pettyjohn Custom Shop Iron MkII Overdrive pedal in excellent condition. This example has the Audiophile and Discrete Opamp mods and includes the original box.

The Iron MkII is Pettyjohn’s medium-gain overdrive, designed more like a studio-grade gain stage than a typical compact drive pedal. It has a full, punchy voice with a useful clean blend, sweepable Highs and Lows filters, and a clipping mix control that lets you move between silicon and LED clipping textures. The Custom Shop Audiophile and Discrete Opamp mods make this one especially cool, upgrading the pedal with higher-grade component choices and Pettyjohn’s studio-style discrete op-amp setup for extra headroom, detail, and depth.
