Up for sale is a gently used MXR EVH 5150 Overdrive pedal in stealth black. To call this an "overdrive" pedal is an interesting choice on behalf of the MXR/EVH, because there is a LOT of gain on tap here and can easily take a clean amp into brown sound territory and beyond. We'd personally categorize it as a distortion, thought the lower gain ranges do sound great too. In any case, it certainly has "that sound" and is our go to recommendation for folks who want a tight/focused high gain sound from a clean pedal platform amp. We all miss Eddie, but at least we have some inspiring mementos of the huge impact he had on the world of guitar.
