Low in-store inventory, may be subject to change.

A Perfect Gentleman.

Flint brings together two of the most enduring effects found in classic guitar amplifiers: tremolo and reverb. Drawing inspiration from vintage circuits spanning several decades, Flint combines three distinct tremolo types with three classic reverb algorithms in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format.

The tremolo side offers three historically inspired voices. ’61 Harmonic Tremolo uses alternating low- and high-frequency bands for a smooth, hypnotic pulse with a subtle phaser-like quality. ’63 Power Tube Tremolo recreates the movement and character of bias-modulated power-tube tremolo, while ’65 Photocell Tremolo delivers the sharper, more defined pulse associated with classic mid-1960s photo-trem circuits.

The reverb side provides three equally distinct eras of ambience. ’60s Spring recreates the character of a full-size two-spring tank and its tube-driven circuitry. ’70s Plate draws from early electronic plate-style reverb designs for a rich, smooth response with fast-building density. ’80s Hall captures the spacious character of vintage digital rack reverbs, including distinctive early reflections and slowly developing reverb tails.

Vintage Sound, New Features.

The second-generation Flint retains the classic tremolo and reverb sounds of the original while adding expanded control, updated hardware, and full MIDI implementation. Tremolo Speed now extends down to nearly 1Hz, while adjustable reverb Pre-Delay provides additional control over the space between the dry signal and the onset of the reverb.

Effect Order can be changed as a Live Edit function, allowing reverb to feed tremolo for a vintage amplifier-style arrangement or tremolo to feed reverb for a more modern signal path. Separate ±3dB boost/cut functions for the tremolo and reverb sides make it possible to compensate for level changes or create additional lift when either effect is engaged.

Full MIDI implementation provides remote control of nearly every knob, switch, and parameter through the EXP/MIDI jack or USB-C connection. Tremolo speed can synchronize to MIDI Clock, and 300 MIDI preset locations are available for storing and recalling complete settings.

A high-impedance, ultra-low-noise discrete Class A JFET input provides excellent touch response and signal integrity. Flint supports mono or TRS stereo input, independent stereo outputs, and selectable instrument- or line-level operation. Line-level mode adds 10dB of headroom for use with synthesizers, active instruments, effects loops, and other higher-level sources.
