JHS Pedals Muffuletta 6-Way Fuzz Pedal - Army Green

The JHS Muffuletta puts six distinct takes on the classic Big Muff fuzz circuit into a single pedal. JHS started with five historically significant versions of the circuit, recreated their individual voices in all-analog form, and added a sixth JHS-designed version of its own. The result gives you a wide range of Muff-style sounds—from darker, scooped vintage fuzz to aggressive distortion, brighter Russian-era tones, and a more powerful JHS voice—in one compact Army Green enclosure.

Volume, Sustain, and Tone provide the familiar core controls, while the six-position Mode knob selects between the different circuit variations. Rather than simply changing EQ around one fuzz circuit, the Muffuletta is designed to recreate the characteristics of six separate versions of the historic design.

The Six Muffuletta Modes

• JHS "2015" — JHS's original take on the circuit, with more power, less compression, and a more pronounced midrange. JHS also recommends this mode for bass.
• 1973 Ram's Head — Based on the 1973–1977 V2 circuit, with scooped mids, less gain, and a darker overall character.
• Triangle — Based on the 1969–1970 V1, with increased low-end response and a more articulate sound.
• Pi — Based on the 1977–1978 V3 version, delivering a more aggressive fuzz character.
• Russian — Based on the 1999–2009 V8 Russian version, with reduced low end and clarity for a rougher garage-style sound.
• Civil War — Based on the 1991–1993 V7 circuit, with more midrange, a brighter response, and less gain.

With six eras available from a single rotary selector, the Muffuletta is especially useful for players who like the basic Muff topology but want more flexibility than any one vintage version can provide. The same three-knob control layout remains available in every mode, making it easy to compare the different circuit voices without changing the way you operate the pedal.
