JHS 3 Series Phaser Pedal

Low in-store inventory, may be subject to change.

The JHS 3 Series Phaser is a versatile, easy-to-use six-stage phaser inspired by classic phaser circuits from the 1970s. It covers the familiar sweeping phase sounds associated with that era while adding a unique Blend control and Feedback toggle for a wider range of modern and experimental textures.

The circuit draws inspiration from several classic phasers, including the Top Gear Phaser, Guyatone PS-007 Phaser, Electro-Harmonix Small Stone, and MXR M107 Phase 100. Rather than recreating one particular vintage pedal, the 3 Series Phaser combines those influences with additional control over the depth, speed, and intensity of the effect.

Blend mixes the wet and dry signals from fully dry to fully wet. Turning Blend all the way clockwise removes the dry signal entirely and can create an almost vibrato-like effect. Rate controls the speed of the LFO, moving from slower sweeps counterclockwise to faster modulation clockwise.

Width controls the width of the LFO. Lower settings keep the modulation more mild and focused, while higher settings produce a broader and more extreme phase sweep. The Feedback toggle adds resonance by feeding the output of the phaser back into its input, emphasizing selected frequencies and producing a more intense phase effect.

Like the rest of the JHS 3 Series, the Phaser uses three simple controls and one toggle to provide a broad range of sounds without unnecessary complexity. Each 3 Series pedal is made by JHS in Kansas City, Missouri using high-quality parts with careful quality control and attention to detail.
