The JHS 3 Series Distortion is a versatile distortion pedal capable of covering medium-gain crunch, heavy overdrive, full distortion, and even fuzz-like sounds. Its simple three-knob layout and Gain toggle provide a wide range of usable tones while keeping the controls straightforward and easy to dial in.

Volume sets the overall output level, Filter shapes the tone of the distorted signal, and Distort controls the amount of gain and saturation. Together, the three controls can move from open, crunchy rhythm sounds through heavier distortion and into more aggressive, saturated textures.

The Gain toggle changes both the character and feel of the distortion. One setting provides a more saturated and compressed response, while the other opens the circuit up for a crunchier sound with greater touch sensitivity and dynamic response.
