Low in-store inventory, may be subject to change.

The Electro-Harmonix Lester-G Deluxe Rotary Speaker is a full-featured rotary speaker emulator designed to recreate the moving horn and low-frequency rotor of a classic rotating speaker cabinet in a pedalboard-friendly format. Separate Fast and Slow speed controls, adjustable acceleration, tube-emulated overdrive, true stereo outputs, and an onboard compressor give the Lester-G enough range to cover everything from slow chorale movement to fast, pulsing rotary effects.

The Slow and Fast controls independently set the rotation rate for each speed mode, while Acceleration determines how quickly the simulated horn and rotor ramp between the two. At its center position, the acceleration behavior is designed to resemble the natural speed transition of a physical rotary cabinet; lower settings produce a slower ramp, while higher settings make the transition increasingly quick.

The Speed/Brake footswitch handles the rotary behavior while playing. A quick tap switches between Fast and Slow modes, while pressing and holding the switch engages Brake mode and gradually brings the virtual speaker to a stop. Tapping the switch again brings the rotor back up to whichever speed mode was active previously.

Drive adds tube-style overdrive modeled after pushing the amplifier section of a traditional rotary cabinet. Balance adjusts the mix between the low-frequency rotor and high-frequency horn, letting you move toward a darker, rotor-heavy response or a brighter sound with more horn. Volume provides overall output-level adjustment.

The Lester-G also includes a dedicated compressor designed specifically to complement electric guitar through the rotary effect. Sustain controls the amount of compression, while Attack determines how much of the initial note transient comes through before compression takes hold. The Squash switch changes between Normal compression and a higher-ratio Squash mode for a much more pronounced compressed sound. Turning Sustain completely down bypasses the compressor section.

For more hands-on control, the EXP input accepts a compatible expression pedal for continuous adjustment of rotary speed. With an expression pedal connected, the Slow knob establishes the heel-down minimum speed and Fast establishes the toe-down maximum speed, allowing you to sweep smoothly between the two. The Lester-G also provides true stereo output through separate Mono/L and Right output jacks, which can be sent to two amplifiers or mixer channels for a wider rotary effect.
