Description:

Up for sale is a Preowned Sterling StingRay Ray34 HH 4-String Active Bass with a maple top, offered in excellent condition with no case or gig bag included. The Ray34 HH is one of Sterling’s higher-end models, closely following the classic StingRay feel while adding extra versatility thanks to the dual humbucker configuration. It’s a solid, professional-feeling bass with great balance and a wide range of usable tones.

This bass features a maple neck with a rosewood (or rosewood substitute) fingerboard, a solid body topped with figured maple, and dual humbucking pickups paired with an active onboard preamp. The HH layout allows for everything from familiar StingRay punch to thicker, more modern sounds, while still retaining the clarity and response the model is known for.

Condition is excellent. The bass still has the plastic protective film on the pickguard and rear electronics plate. There are two small but noticeable dings on the bottom side of the body near the strap button, one noticeable ding on the very top edge of the headstock, and one thin finish crack at the neck joint on the lower horn, which appears cosmetic only. Outside of these noted areas, there is very minimal playwear, and the bass presents extremely clean overall.

The bass has been inspected and set up in our shop: fresh strings installed, neck relief adjusted, action set, and intonation dialed in. Electronics function properly, and it plays comfortably across the neck with the punch and flexibility the Ray34 HH is known for.

We typically use brand new, high crush strength boxes and we pack very carefully.
