Description:
Folks! Don't sleep on this one. This is an ultra rare Ibanez BTB PQM2 which is a custom artist run model made in very small numbers (some estimates are less than 5, but we don't have actual production numbers). Killer playing and sounding bass. Allegedly based on the custom specs of Benny Rietveld (Santana bassist).
That isn't just any MIJ BTB, this is higher than Prestige level, made in a very small batch only for Ibanez artists. Quilted maple top, Bartolini pickups, 5-piece neck, Piezos in the bridge, abalone inlays. As you can see it has been thoroughly loved but there is no damage that affects playability or durability. You will likely never see another go up for sale.
Tested 100% fully functional. Comes with an Ibanez gig bag. Very good condition overall, but has some finger wear through the thin oil finish on top (as pictured), the side of the outer saddles show some discoloration, a few very small impressions throughout the body, and 3 of the tuners have the back cap missing, which does not affect their functionality.
