Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 2000 Ibanez Ergodyne EDB605 5-String Active Bass, made in Korea and part of Ibanez’s Ergodyne series known for its lightweight synthetic body material and modern feel. The EDB605 offers a comfortable, contoured design with active electronics, making it a versatile option for players needing extended range and flexible tone shaping.

Features include a Luthite body, bolt-on maple neck with a 34" scale length, rosewood fingerboard, dual active pickups, onboard EQ, and a fixed bridge. The Ergodyne design keeps the instrument lightweight and well-balanced while maintaining a clear, articulate response across all five strings.

This example presents very clean overall with only light signs of use. There are a few light scratches on the back of the body along with very minor wear throughout. There is also one very small, smooth scuff on the back of the lower horn that goes through the finish. Aside from these minor cosmetic details, the bass has clearly been well maintained and remains a solid, reliable player.

Every instrument we sell is fully tested in our shop to ensure reliable performance, and optimal setup. Fretted instruments receive a full pro setup with fresh strings, polished frets, optimal truss rod relief, dialed in string action height and precise intonation (when applicable). This one’s clean, plays great, and is ready for the next player. If we are shipping it to you, trust that it will be packed securely and fully insured.

Domestic Shipping: for items not picked up in store, we are happy to ship them to your door! Most larger domestic packages ship UPS Ground fully insured. Smaller packages typically ship via USPS. We typically use brand new, high crush strength boxes and we pack very carefully. So, you can purchase with confidence that your item will arrive safely, and in the very rare cases where damage occurs we will work with the shipper to make it right.
