The Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano is a compact digital reverb built around three straightforward sounds: Spring, Hall, and Flerb. The design keeps the controls deliberately simple, using a single Reverb knob for wet/dry balance and a three-position selector for choosing the reverb algorithm. It is a practical choice for players who want classic reverb sounds without a large control set or menu system.

Spring recreates the character of the spring-reverb circuits found in traditional guitar amplifiers, giving you the familiar splash and decay associated with classic amp reverb. Hall produces a smoother, more spacious ambience suited to everything from subtle depth to larger atmospheric sounds.

Flerb is the Holy Grail's more unusual voice, combining reverb with flanging for a modulated, spatial effect. It gives the pedal a distinctly different texture beyond its two traditional reverb modes and works well for more pronounced ambient and modulation-style sounds.

The Reverb knob functions as a wet/dry blend. Lower settings add a relatively subtle amount of ambience around the dry signal, while the effect becomes considerably more pronounced as the control is turned beyond noon. The single footswitch engages or bypasses the effect, and true-bypass switching removes the pedal from the signal path when disengaged.
