Dunlop FFM2 Germanium Fuzz Face Mini - Germanium Transistor

available at

Low in-store inventory, may be subject to change.

The Dunlop FFM2 Germanium Fuzz Face Mini Distortion delivers the warm vintage fuzz tones of the classic Fuzz Face in a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly housing. Based on the pre-silicon Fuzz Face pedals produced from 1966–1968, the FFM2 uses slightly mismatched germanium transistors to recreate the smooth, warm character associated with those early units.

The Fuzz Face Mini line keeps the familiar sound and simple operation of the original design while adding several modern conveniences. The compact round enclosure includes a bright status LED, external power jack, convenient battery door, and true-bypass switching.

The two-control layout stays true to the original Fuzz Face concept. Volume controls the overall effect output, while Fuzz adjusts the amount of fuzz and gain. The circuit provides up to 45dB of gain, giving the FFM2 plenty of range for everything from warmer, lower-gain textures to full vintage fuzz saturation.

The FFM2 can be powered from a single 9V battery or a compatible 9V power supply such as the Dunlop ECB003. It can also be powered from Dunlop DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies.
