Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 1965 Gibson GA-15RVT Explorer 1x12” 15-watt tube guitar amplifier. This vintage combo is part of Gibson’s mid-’60s lineup and is known for its straightforward layout, built-in reverb and tremolo, and warm, low-wattage tube character that works well for recording and lower-volume playing situations.

Features include a 15-watt all-tube circuit, onboard reverb and tremolo, and a single 12” speaker that has been upgraded to a Celestion G12K-100. This speaker upgrade adds more headroom and a tighter low end compared to typical vintage speakers. The cabinet covering is in great shape overall with minimal scratches or tears, but the amp shows its age with normal signs of use and visible wear in the front grille cloth. Fully tested and working as it should.
