Description:

iDea digital recorder built right into the preamp system. This feature allowed players to capture song ideas directly on the guitar, making it a creative tool as well as a performance-ready acoustic/electric.

The guitar itself features Ovation’s rounded Lyrachord bowl-back design, a spruce top, and the familiar mid-depth contour body that makes it very comfortable to play. The electronics provide both standard acoustic amplification and the integrated digital recording function, controlled via the preamp panel on the side.

larger scratch underneath the strings on the body that blends in well with the silver finish. Aside from these cosmetic notes, the guitar is very clean, with no structural issues. Frets are in great shape, the neck is solid, and the electronics—including the iDea recording feature—are working properly. No case or gig bag is included.

It has been fully set up in our shop: fresh strings installed, truss rod and neck relief adjusted, frets polished, nut and action dialed in, and electronics tested. It’s playing and sounding great, with the added bonus of that built-in recording capability.

Domestic Shipping: for items not picked up in store, we are happy to ship them to your door! Most larger domestic packages ship UPS Ground fully insured. Smaller packages typically ship via USPS. We typically use brand new, high crush strength boxes and we pack very carefully. So, you can purchase with confidence that your item will arrive safely, and in the very rare cases where damage occurs we will work with the shipper to make it right.
