Description:
Up for sale is a preowned vintage Kay Archtop Acoustic Guitar in Sunburst in very good condition. A hardshell case is included.
This is a classic Kay archtop acoustic with the traditional full-bodied jazz-box look and feel that made these instruments popular with rhythm players, blues musicians, and early jazz guitarists. The arched-body construction gives it a different response and character than a flat-top acoustic, with a quicker attack and more focused, percussive voice that works especially well for chord work and old-school acoustic rhythm playing.
This example is in very good condition and shows normal cosmetic wear from use and age. There are scratches on the pickguard along with a few scratches throughout the body. Nothing noted affects the structure or playability of the instrument. A hardshell case is included.
