Description:

preowned 2000s Lark In The Morning HJC2000 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar, featuring a solid cedar top and rosewood back and sides. Lark In The Morning is best known as a world instrument shop, but for a time they offered a small run of steel-string acoustics built with solid tonewoods and traditional designs. The HJC2000 is a large-bodied jumbo with strong projection, warm lows, and a smooth, clear top end—great for strumming, vocal accompaniment, or solo flatpicking.

The cedar top gives this one a more open and responsive feel compared to spruce, with a quicker attack and darker midrange character. The rosewood back and sides add depth and sustain, making this a nicely balanced jumbo with plenty of volume when you dig in. The appointments are fairly minimal—binding, rosette, and rosewood bridge/fingerboard—but it’s a clean, well-built guitar that holds its own tonally.

As always, this guitar has been fully set up here in the shop: fresh strings, fret polish, truss rod and neck relief dialed in, nut and saddle height adjusted, and action set for comfortable playability.
