Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 1986 Takamine EF-400C 12-String Acoustic/Electric Guitar in Gloss Natural, made in Japan during a strong era for Takamine production. This cutaway dreadnought pairs classic 12-string shimmer with onboard electronics, making it equally suited for stage use or unplugged performance.

Features include a spruce top with laminated back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, traditional dreadnought cutaway body shape, and Takamine onboard electronics. The 12-string configuration delivers the full, chorused sparkle players expect, while the cutaway allows easier access to upper frets.

This example shows clear signs of use consistent with its age. There is one notable chip on the top front point of the headstock. The body has a number of very small dings and surface scratches throughout, along with buckle rash on the back. Despite the cosmetic wear, the guitar remains structurally solid and plays well, making it a dependable vintage 12-string player.
