Since opening in 2013, Canton Music Shoppe has been helping the North Georgia community find its unique musical voice through our broad selection of new, used and vintage instruments and accessories, our in-house music lesson academy, and our full-service instrument repair services … and, also our friendly and knowledgeable staff of musicians who are always here to answer questions and offer unbiased, no pressure advice to help you reach your musical goals.
We are an independently owned family business that thrives on great customer service and the love of instruments. As of late 2021, the shop is under new ownership, and has a fresh new look and feel. Our goal is to differentiate our shop by our fantastic customer service and a relaxed and comfortable vibe. Real people, offering real service. We want to be your go-to source for your musical passion, whether that means offering top notch products and services, or just pointing you in the right direction.
While most of the shop is filled with guitars, amps and effects, we are more than just a guitar shop. We offer new and used band instruments, band instrument rentals, repairs and accessories, ukuleles, banjos, violins, mandolins, keyboards, drums … you get the idea! We try our best to have a little bit of everything, and if we don’t have what you are looking for, we’ll do our best to find it. We are well known for our personalized service and go the extra mile to make sure you have what you want and need.

Need to thin the collections? Decided to pursue another passion and your old instrument collecting dust? We can help! Canton Music Shoppe pays fair prices for used equipment of any kind, and we also offer trades and a straightforward consignment program.
Why bother with shipping, hidden fees, no-shows and all the other hassles of selling used gear online or via classified ads? With our professional photography, worldwide shipping, simple returns and knowledgeable staff we are experts at selling music gear. Note that while we may be able to give a ballpark value estimate over the phone or email, we do need to physically inspect ALL items that we buy, trade or consign.
